The daughter and grand-daughter of winegrowers, Collette set up on 2.20 ha in 1993 and sold her grapes to the big houses of Champagne just as other members of her family had done before her.
In 2001 she and her brother, an organic winegrower, opened a wine pressing facility. Trained in biodynamic winegrowing, she used its principals to transform her vineyards in 2006. As she did not have her own cellar, she naturally turned to her local cooperative, the Centre Vinicole de Chouilly (Wine production center in Chouilly, near Epernay) to develop her champagnes made from organic grapes. The undisputed talent of this center’s oenologists provide her with the skills to truly showcase the terroir of her vineyards.
